The last lecture

The last lecture was from my late mom. She told me to be wise and go back to school. She told me not to get back with someone who betrayed me because he will waste my time and hurt me again. She told me to raise my child and be a good mother to him. She told me not to compromise when it comes to my son and my education.

She told me to be like her, she was an independent and businesswoman. She told me to believe in myself and never doubt myself. She asked me to be there for my brothers no matter what and look after her little boy, he was 12 years by then but now he is 21 years.

She told me not to stop praying and chasing after my dreams. She told me, forgiveness is good for the heart.

I thank her for giving me the last lecture. Today everything she said still rings on my head. I practice everything she said.  I LOVE YOU, MOM!!!! REST IN PEACE! I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU!!!!
