Wedding cake in the middle of the road

It was Saturday morning. The sun was shining. Everyone was excited. The venue was decorated very nice.  Catering team was hired. Wedding dress and suite were designed by a well known designer. It was a beautiful morning. Both families were happy and excited, their daughter and son were getting married. 

The only thing was not there, it was a wedding cake. It was supposed to be delivered before eight. The wedding ceremony was starting at ten. The bakery was delaying. The delivery guy called to apologise for the inconvenience they caused, but he promised to deliver it before 10 o’clock.

Ten o’clock passed the wedding cake was not there, and the bridegroom was already in church waiting for his bride. He received a call from his bride. “Baby the wedding cake is not delivered yet and I can’t go to church until it is delivered”. Bridegroom said” ok my love I will make a plan”.  He did not tell her, his plan. He went out the church, he got into his car, he drove fast to fetch the wedding cake. He got the wedding cake. On his way back to church, he got an accident. He did not stop, the robots were red, but he could not wait. He was driving very fast.  He never make it on his wedding. He passed away.  Wedding cake was messed up and full of his blood and glasses of windscreen. The wedding cake was in the middle of the road.

The wedding was off. The bridegroom was death and wedding cake was in the middle of the road. That was sad.
